Azuri Technologies, a leading commercial provider of PayGo Solar Home Systems to rural, off-grid homes has been named in the Start-Up Energy Transition (SET) Top 100 for 2018.
Global energy transition is one of the biggest challenges in the human history. The German Energy Agency (dena) in cooperation with the World Energy Council put together the top 100 global companies creating sustainable energy solutions.
Climate change and the energy transition are some of the greatest challenges humanity has ever faced and those named on the SET 100 work specifically to overcome them. While other lists purely stress innovation or business success, SET celebrates innovative start-ups that the international community of cross-sectoral experts has acknowledged having the largest impact in energy and in the fight against climate change.
Azuri Technologies CEO, Simon Bransfield Garth comments: “We are delighted to be named as one of the top 100 companies working against climate change. Cleantech and the renewable energy industry has seen large growth during the last year and we are proud to be recognised our impact.”
The complete list can be found on the Start Up Energy Transition website.
