Simon Bransfield-Garth

CEO

Simon has 25 years global experience building rapid growth, technology-based businesses in sectors including Semiconductor, Automotive and Mobile Phones. His career includes 7 years at Symbian, the phone OS maker, where he was a member of the Leadership Team and VP Global Marketing. Simon was founder of Myriad Solutions Ltd and was previously a Fellow at Cambridge University. He holds a BA and Ph.D in Engineering from St John’s College, Cambridge UK.

Kieran Reynolds

VP Operations

Kieran has more than 10 years’ experience in the development of plastic electronic devices. He was previously CTO of the Advanced Photovoltaic Research Accelerator which funded work on organic photovoltaics. Kieran’s career includes 6 years at Plastic Logic where his roles included Process Integration Group Leader and Quality Manager. He holds a M.Sci in Chemical Physics from the University of Bristol and a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Cambridge.

Nigel Preston

VP Product Management

Nigel has 25 years’ global experience of embedded electronic systems development and manufacture. Previous positions include European Director of Engineering at Motorola Inc’s Automotive business and COO International Operations for Pi Shurlok.   He holds a B.Eng. and Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Liverpool.

Alistair MacLennan

VP Sales

Alistair has 21 years experience creating, developing and training direct and indirect sales channels in Africa. Born in Kenya, he worked for Millicom and Tellular, before moving to the Satellite Industry as Vice President of Sales for Iridium Africa. He then worked in Sub Sahara Africa for Cisco Systems and was responsible for all the Service Provider IP networking sales.

Peter Saxton

CFO

Peter is a Chartered Accountant with more than twenty five years’ experience as a CFO with listed and venture capital backed companies.  Most recently, for eight years he was CFO on Bango plc, the AIM-listed mobile internet billing company and prior to that has was FD at PayPoint plc, providing retail bill payment for utilities, for five years from start-up through to annual billing collections of c £2bn.  He has a degree in Management Sciences from Manchester University.

Wanda Halbert

Marketing Manager

Wanda has a background in innovation and international development in emerging countries.  She previously led the external communications at Euclid Network and has worked on emerging technologies policy research at the United Nations.  She holds a BSc in Physiology from the University of Bristol and a Masters in Criminology from the University of Cambridge.
